What you can do

Browse, share, and link to anything on this site. All country pages, comparison URLs, and methodology pages are designed to be shared freely.
Cite our pages. When you do, please link to the canonical URL (every page has one in its <head>) and, where possible, also cite the underlying primary source we link to.
Re-use the underlying datasubject to the licenses of the primary sources. We don’t add a layer of our own license on top of the source data — see the methodologypage for each indicator’s source license.

What you can’t do

Misrepresent CountryLens as the authoritative source of a number we’re only re-displaying. We’re a viewer; the authority is the upstream publisher.
Scrape the site at a rate that disrupts service for other visitors. We don’t publish a hard rate limit, but if you need bulk data, contact us — the underlying sources publish bulk data feeds you can use directly.
Use our site to harass, defame, or make discriminatory claims about a country or its people. Country-level statistics describe aggregates; they don’t describe individuals.

No warranty

Numbers on this site come from third-party publishers. We do our best to render them accurately, with deep-link citations so you can verify, but we don’t guarantee correctness, completeness, or timeliness. If you spot an error, tell us— we’ll investigate and fix.
