Bahrain Golden Residency - a permanent residency administered by NPRA with four eligibility pathways: (1) Property owner - Bahrain real estate with total value at purchase >= BHD 130,000; (2) Resident employee - >= 5 years in Bahrain with average BASIC salary >= BHD 2,000 over the past 5 years; (3) Resident retiree - worked 15+ years in Bahrain with average pension > BHD 2,000 in the last 5 years; (4) Non-resident retiree - basic salary/pension >= BHD 4,000. Plus a talent track (nominated by a government agency: academics, athletes, entrepreneurs, inventors, award-winning artists/authors). Valid health insurance is a stated general condition. Application fee BHD 5 (non-refundable, per person); residency issuance fee BHD 300 per person; standard BHD 300 administrative fee every 10 years. Family members can be added via the NPRA 'Enrolment for Golden Residency' (endorsed family members) service. No minimum annual physical-presence requirement is stated on the NPRA page.
