Calidad migratoria Rentista granted by Superintendencia Nacional de Migraciones (MININTER). Applicant must be OUTSIDE Peru when applying (unusual — many programs require in-country). Income source: pension OR 'renta permanente' from Peruvian or foreign source. For foreign-source income, USD 1,000/mo minimum. For Peruvian-source income, no specified threshold (Migraciones discretion). Money must enter Peru via SBS-supervised bank; sworn declaration required. Fee S/ 58.80 (PEN) via code 07567 at Banco de la Nación (NOTE: aggregators commonly cite S/ 162.50 / code 07568 — primary gov.pe source confirms current fee is S/ 58.80). Migraciones discretion determines temporal-vs-residente classification — when granted as Residente, this is essentially direct permanent residence. Health insurance NOT required at trámite stage. Processing 30 business days. Legal basis: Ley N° 28072 + Decreto Supremo N° 002-2021-IN.
